Staxtacular 2014

Staxtacular was born in March 2005 out of a desire by Shane Battier and Brian Cardinal of the Memphis Grizzlies, along with their wives, to raise awareness and necessary operating funds for the Stax Music Academy. Billed as a soul-shakin throw-down, the event includes live music, dancing, a large silent auction, free-flowing cocktails, and gourmet cuisine. The event is promoted heavily to Grizzlies season ticket holders and Soulsville members, hundreds of whom pack the Stax Museum for a night of revelry to benefit the Academy.
