Artist
Item Description
With the strokes of my paintbrush, the word "disability" loses meaning and a comfortign strength prevails. Twenty-five years have passed since my first painting. The passion felt initially continues with increasing clarify. Passion is the key ingredient that fuels my artistic journey which focuses on a broad selection of painting styles and subjects. My goal is to create symbolic realism with such passion that the viewer is motivated to engage with the scene, hopefully looking closer and discovering elements that are not so obvious. To declare that I am an artist exceeds my comfort zone as a painter and a person. The only way to become recognized as an artist requires time. If a painting survives the test of time and is recognized as an object of interest long after I am gone, the distinguished label is appropriate. Motivated by art history, I strive to pursue painting with dedication and reflection. I eagerly decipher the works of master painters hoping for a fraction of their magic to influence my brush.
