Alan Paine Radebaugh, Inlet, oil on panel, 24x24
"Inlet" is Alan's impression of the landscape of South Texas as it abuts the Gulf. This painting is an addition to a group of paintings done over the past three years of Alan's impressions of the Great Plains to the Gulf to the Arctic. None of this group have been shown to date; this is the first shown of nearly fifty paintings.
Item Special Note
Alan Paine Radebaugh, influenced by his physical environment, has spent time drawing and painting in Canada and throughout the US.
His work has hung in museums and galleries in the US, Asia, Mexico. In 2004, he had a 20-year retrospective, Alan Paine Radebaugh: Chasing Fragments 1984--2004. He received Albuquerque Art Bravos Award for Excellence in Visual Arts in 2008 for Mass: Of Our World at UNM Art Museum.
Permanent collections include: Albuquerque Museum; New Mexico Museum; Ohio State University; Portland Museum of Art; Roswell Museum; University of New Mexico Art Museum; and College of Wooster.
