Item Description
Climb a Colorado Fourteener with experienced guides
Enjoy a guided hiking experience on your choice of the Colorado “fourteeners” or “14ers”, which are mountains over 14,000 feet in elevation. Colorado officially has 54 magnificent 14ers, plus a few named subpeaks.
This trip is for one or two people, experienced or new to 14ers. If you have a goal to hike up all of the 14ers, with only the most difficult remaining, this trip is for you! If you have never hiked a 14er, and want to try it safely at a comfortable pace, this trip is also for you!
You choose the mountain! We provide logistics and gear, including carpool, campsite, route finding, meals, and any additional equipment needed. Trip duration is one or two days, between June and September, 2021.
Your custom 14er hike will be guided by Carrie Laxson and Susan Baker. Carrie and Susan enjoy being outdoors and sharing their passion of hiking with others. Hailing from Alaska, Carrie is an avid outdoors woman with over a decade of experience leading backpacking trips, working with the Alaska Mountain Rescue Group and patrolling for the local biking club. She has climbed all over the west, including notable hotspots such as Joshua Tree, Yosemite, and Smith Rocks. Susan is a former instructor with the Colorado Mountain Club, and has climbed all of the Colorado Fourteeners, Long’s Peak via the East Face, Mount Rainier and the Grand Teton, and two continental high points.

The Fine Print
Reaching the summit is not guaranteed. You must be in adequate physical condition to hike to 14,000 feet, and the round-trip distance from trailhead to summit. Weather may be a factor, and if your safety is deemed to be at risk by the guides, we will turn back together. If the trip is postponed by mutual consent before embarking, a make-up date will be scheduled.
Exclusions: 14ers on private land (Bross and Culebra) and remote access requiring train transportation (Windom, Eolus, Sunlight)
Acknowledgement of Risk and Release of Liability: Rocky Mountain Raptor Program (RMRP) and trip guides are not responsible for hazardous conditions and medical expenses. A waiver must be signed before embarking.
