Clare Christie Original Art Piece, "Celebrating Pin Oak"

 "Celebrating Pin Oak" is an original charcoal and pastel drawing measuring 22" x 30" created by Clare Christie,  www.clarechristiefineart.com. The drawing with its fluid lines and shapes represents all the movement and rhythms of the different horses that have been a part of Pin Oak for seventy years. Creating this piece was important to Clare because her mother and her aunt both rode in the show before she was born.  Over the years, Clare heard many grand stories and admired many wonderful pictures of Pin Oak's past in family albums. The drawing is a way to honor the show that has special meaning to so many.
