Artist Inspiration:

The Marlon Brando poster in her studio inspired this piece.

Artist Bio:

Jane was born in NYC and grew up in suburban New Jersey. She studied at Butera School of Art in Boston where she studied commercial and fine arts.  Moving to the mountains of Colorado in 1969, she has made this her home ever since.

Jane has worked for Cat Care Society for the past 24 years and has served as the Art Director for Tails of the Painted Cats since its inception in 2011. Skilled in abstract painting and Paper Mache sculpture; her work has been sold nationwide. She has had several one woman shows, taught classes, workshops and given demos in the metro area.

Jane lives in Wheat Ridge with her husband and three Cat Care Society adoptees, Leo, Alice and Sanjay.

 

Online Bidding:

We are offering online bidding for the Painted Cats, Flat Cats, Clay Cats and the Paper Cats from May 13th through September 13th.  Online bidding will close on September 13th.

Bidding will resume at the Tails of the Painted Cats Gala Dinner & Auction on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Pinehurst Country Club from 5-8pm.

Please note: If you are unable to attend the Gala Dinner be sure to set your maximum bid online by September 13th and we will serve as your proxy bidder during the event.

All cats will be available for pick up at the Gala Dinner & Auction on September 16, 2017. This painted cat cannot be shipped and is available for pick up only.

Please Note: This is a Live Auction Cat and could have a bid range of $1,000-$13,000.
