The little kid with the baritone voice grew up listening to some of the biggest male vocalists of all-time-greats like Ray Charles and Frank Sinatra. As a teenager, he expanded his musical landscape and learned from country greats like George Jones and Ronnie Dunn. During this period, Brett started booking local gigs and instantaneously knew that he wanted to use his voice to make people happy. He made the move to Music City and quickly learned that he’d have to distinguish himself from all the other Nashville hopefuls.
He developed the discipline of writing songs and learning to play the guitar every day.
