Spends 2 hours in a New York City dance studio ahving your enxt solo created by Savannah Joy Cobb.
Savannah is from North Carolina where she studied ballet under Galina Panova. Savannah holds her BFA in Dance from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she attended on an NYCDA Foundation scholarship. She has performed in works created by Dwight Rhoden, Douglas Becker, Roni Koresh, and Sidra Bell. While at UArts, she was chosen to travel to France, perform in RAW: Artists of Philadelphia, World of Dance, and The Capezio Ace Awards. Her further training included The Joffrey Ballet Intensive, CAMP: Common Art Mutual Passion and David Parsons Intensive/Choreography Lab. Savannah moved to NYC to train in Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester where she was able to perform for Glamour and Details Magazines’ End of the Year Celebration and the New York City’s Choreographers Canvas. Graduating with Honors; Savannah has now had the opportunity to dance for Broadway Cares with DRA, Destiny Rising at the Joyce Theater and the Project 4 5 20 with Pushing Progress. In 2016 her short dance film, Àme was an official selection of the Philadelphia Screendance Festival. She most recently represented the Broadway National Tours Number for Gypsy of the Year at the New Amsterdam Theatre. She currently teaches at Ballet Academy East in NYC.
