Janet V. Markovits has been a NY State licensed massage therapist since 1997. A graduate of the Swedish Institute of Massage, Janet is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She has studied numerous modalities including MotherMassageŽ with Elaine Stillerman, Maya Abdominal Massage with Rosita Arvigo,CranioSacral and Lymphatic Drainage with the Upledger Institute and Sports Massage with James Hackett .
She has volunteered her services for the NYC Fire Department after Sept 11th as well as the NYC Marathon and Bike NY. Maternal Massage and More has been featured on the Channel 11 Morning News and on ABC News. Janet is an expert in the field and has appeared in numerous magazines. She is also the host of "From Here to Maternity" on the VoiceAmerica Health & Wellness channel. Janet continues to educate herself and her clients on the latest techniques and research.
