You may not know IDEO's name, but the design firm is credited with creating a staggering number of products and services in a wide variety of fields. Its creations range from the first commercial mouse (for Apple computer), to the robotic whale used in Free Willy, to the first standup toothpaste tube. They even helped McDonalds cut the number of steps in its food service process in half (whle inventing a toaster that toasts buns in 15 seconds)!
Lynda Deakin, IDEO partner of 20 years, will lead this informative 45-minute tour of IDEO?s offices in San Francisco.
