Day 1: AIRPORT/CRYSTAL PARADISE RESORT
You will be met at the airport by our driver and transfers to Crystal Paradise Resort, optional stop at the
Belize Zoo (entrance fee to the zoo not included, US$15/pp)
After a short orientation at the resort you will be taken to your jungle cabana.
Overnight at Crystal Paradise Resort
Day 2 ? CANOEING DOWN THE MACAL RIVER
Breakfast
Morning canoeing trip down the Macal River: We will drive 2.5 miles upstream from Crystal Paradise
Resort, from there you will canoe down the river to end Crystal Paradise. You will have swimming time,
birding opportunities, and great scenery for pictures. You will get to see plenty of birds, iguanas,
squirrels, among other wild life that lives near the river. (Entrance fee to site not included, US$5/pp)

Day 3: BARTON CREEK CAVE/BUTTERFLY RANCH/BIG ROCK FALLS
Breakfast. One of our most popular trips! Most people find the canoe tour by torchlight through this cave
unforgettable. Besides its natural beauty, the site is made even more interesting by the presence of
archaeological remains that were left there by the ancient Maya visitors. Archaeologists believe that this
cave was used for ritual purposes. Its large river passage, beautiful geological formations, and Mayan
artifacts appeal to both local and foreign visitors. Overnight Crystal Paradise Resort
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast you will be transfer back to the Belize International Airport
