Description

The house sits atop the Dundee Hills in Dundee, Oregon, U.S. at approximately 1,000 feet and is on five acres of mostly forest with a petite lawn area to the side of the house. From the deck, you can enjoy views of the Willamette valley and excellent star gazing on clear nights.

This unique 2,700 square foot U shaped house is centered around a courtyard, with a deck leading out from the dining room to a view of the Dundee hills. The house is appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishing, and luxurious linens. There are two bedrooms with king size beds and private sitting areas and one smaller, cozy queen size bedroom. A second living room, opposite the bedroom wing, offers a place to watch movies, nap, or lounge on the sofa with a good book.

The kitchen is ready for you to enjoy a home prepared meal or you can pre-order specially prepared meals from a private chef -- from breakfast, lunch, and dinner to pre-packed lunches you can take along on your wine tasting excursions. Grocery delivery services is also available so that you can arrive with the fridge stocked and avoid spending your vacation time at the store. We also offer a la carte or package pampering services, such as on-site massage, cooking, wellness, and meditation classes.

The house is conveniently located in the center of the Dundee Hills AVA with several tasting rooms in walking distance and dozens more a short drive. The scenery is breathtaking with the town of Dundee, only a ten-minute drive, filled with award-winning restaurants, tasting rooms, and coffee shops.

The owners live on the adjacent five-acre property, though the homes are spread out with a forest of fir trees in between, creating privacy for both houses.

?We were thrilled with the time we spent at Chateau Lesieutre in the Dundee Hills wine country. The setting is magnificent -- overlooking endless fields of ripening grapes and autumn colors. The house looks to have been completely redone in the recent past and has clean, crisp, elegant new furnishings and finishes throughout. Outdoor spaces include a lovely patio and of course the wine country itself, where minimal traffic makes it possible to take long walks along picturesque country roads. The owners aren't far away but the house and grounds feel very private; a short drive away are some great dining establishments and many wineries with their tasting rooms. Wi-fi worked fine despite the feeling of being a world away from downtown Portland. I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a calming, restorative getaway.? ~ Robert Decker, Oct. 30, 2017

?I loved staying in the Willamette Valley! Oregon is a different wine tasting experience especially if you like Pinot Noir. This guest house was perfectly located to tour wineries in Dundee. I felt at home in this spacious, well decorated, and quiet house with beautiful views of the Dundee hills. The house had everything I needed and lovely restaurants and tasting rooms were a short drive away. It was a nice change from wine tasting in Napa, which I had done before. I'd recommend the house and the area for a great wine tasting/getaway!? ~ Caryn Cohen, Jan. 5, 2018

?What a lovely home to stay in while touring wineries in Dundee! It is spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable, quiet with beautiful views of the Dundee hills. And the wineries are just a couple of miles away down the rolling hills. All around amazing experience and we'll be back for sure!? Stephanie Mendes, Oct. 9, 2017
