Perhaps the best way to describe New Orleans is with a palette of the most vibrant colors - from jazz music to riverboats, Creole cuisine to the French Quarter, the Big Easy has earned its flamboyant reputation, and this is the perfect opportunity for you to explore the rich heritage that continues today. Modern New Orleans cooking meets haute Creole in the kitchen of the Commander?s Palace, or you can dine on fresh regional cuisine at the famous Mr. B?s Bistro in the heart of the French Quarter - either way, you?ll love the flavors of N?awlins! Not only is New Orleans lively - it?s alive with some unexpected (possibly unwanted), and mystifying inhabitants, who you may run into on your nighttime Ghosts and Spirits Walking Tour!

Take a step back in time to the 19th century with a stay in the heart of the Central Business District at the St. James Hotel, which puts you within a short walking distance of all the major attractions, including the French Quarter, the Superdome, and all the jazz you could want! For the epitome of personal luxury, the four-star and four-diamond Windsor Court Hotel invites you to relax in its classic elegance. A historic setting, modern amenities and excellent service beckon you to the Hyatt Centric French Quarter New Orleans, which sits adjacent to the famed Bourbon Street. And for a bit of New Orleans charm, the distinct Maison Dupuy Hotel gives you the perfect combination of luxurious relaxation and the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street.

Since 1880, Commander?s Palace has been a New Orleans landmark known for the award winning quality of its food and many commodious dining rooms. From your first sip of a Sazerac to your last crumb of bread pudding soufflé, you?ll be pampered and delighted ? and that?s what New Orleans is all about!

Mr. B?s Bistro, a New Orleans institution renowned for its fresh Creole cuisine, is right in the heart of the French Quarter. Considered the original New Orleans gourmet bistro, Mr. B?s Bistro uses only the freshest, local ingredients in its dishes, creating culinary masterpieces from fried oysters on the half shell, to rich country-style gumbo, scrumptious crab cakes to the classic shrimp and grits! Whatever your taste, treat yourself to a hearty meal at Mr. B?s!

Then put on your walking shoes and prepare yourself for some paranormal activity on your nighttime walking Ghosts and Spirits Tour of the French Quarter! New Orleans is known as ?the most haunted city in America,? and you?ll learn about the history of the colorful characters who have lived, died and chosen to remain in this 300-year old European city. Enter several haunted sites and hear about the stories featured on The History Channel and The Discovery Channel, and listen to ghostly stories about the haunted hotels and the courthouse where the state supreme court is based. You?ll even visit a former slave exchange. Each guide has researched these ?other spirits? of the Vieux Carre (French Quarter), so no two tours are exactly alike.
