Kara?s Cupcakes is the vision of executive pastry chef, Kara Haspel Lind.
Kara was a passionate home baker with a sweet tooth and 6 figure executive salary when she realized the importance of following her dreams ? so she left her job at Allure magazine and enrolled in the Tante Marie Professional Pastry School in San Francisco.
Soon, a small, word-of-mouth cupcake catering business was born and quickly became so popular that demand for her cupcakes exceeded her ability to fill the orders.
Kara?s Cupcakes opened in San Francisco?s Marina District, and now, nine more bakeries later, (and well beyond just cupcakes!) this busy mom and wife is selling her delicious sweets and is actively engaged in her community?both San Francisco and the Napa Valley.
Kara can still be found most mornings working in the kitchen with her dedicated pastry staff.
