Description
Spend an evening in dialogue with Dr Bill Newsome Director of the WuTsai Neurosciences Institute at Stanford. This interdisciplinary Institute is studying the functionality of the human brain and providing a growing understanding of how the brain is organized and how humans make choices. He will describe the Big Hairy Audacious Goals they are tackling like "how is the brain organized?,? ?how do humans make choices?,? ? what causes degenerative diseases?,? all with a focus on understanding and treating major diseases of the brain.
Dr. Newsome is a brilliant, charismatic speaker who makes complex subjects easy to understand and your dinner a rich delight. He will be joined by his spouse, Dr. Brie Linkehoker, a PhD neuroscientist who runs Worldview Studio.
