Hear My Voice is an account of the American women's suffrage movement, told through the eyes of a young fictionalized composite character. Jessie is introduced to the suffrage movement by her great-aunt Charlotte. Despite her parents' objections, Jessie joins the battle for the right to vote while her brother is pulled across the ocean to fight in World War I.
