Description

This unique piece is a dimensionally accurate replica of the center Rosette of the Chartres Cathedral Labyrinth. It measures about 12 feet square, and has the precise  measurements of the original Rosette.

It was created by Paxworks labyrinth maker John Ridder especially in honor of the work of Veriditas in spreading the labyrinth experience throughout the world.

Because the rosette is round, and the canvas is square, a portion of the next few paths are shown in the corners. This gives a hint of the greater journey beyond the space you occupy.

The work includes subtle representation of the many joints between the stones.

Item Special Note

THIS IS NOT A STANDARD ITEM.

The canvas was once ?connected by its threads? to a full size canvas labyrinth made by Paxworks and being walked by somebody, somewhere.
(When we prepare and join the canvas the scraps are saved to be donated to schools, charities, or sometimes to become unique artwork. )

In the tradition of labyrinth makers worldwide, the artist signature is humbly placed on the back of the canvas.

This item will be shipped from the Veriditas office, and shipping fees will be calculated and charged to the winning bidder once the auction bidding closes.
