Description
Born in Southern California, Steve Aoki is a celebrated American musician, DJ, record producer and music executive. He has become one of the highest grossing dance artists around the world and has collaborated with artists such as will.i.am, Afrojack, blink-182, Linkin Park, Iggy Azalea, Kid Cudi, and more. Aoki has released several Billboard-charting albums as well, notably Wonderland, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronica Album in 2013. He has won numerous awards including Best DJ of the Year by BPM Magazine and Paper Magazine, along with Best Set of the Season by the Ibiza Awards.
Since early in his career, Aoki has been involved with various charities. He is the founder of the Steve Aoki Charitable Fund, which raises money for global humanitarian relief organizations and medical research. In 2015, he was named as Global Ambassador for the Best Buddies program, a non-profit devoted to young people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
In addition to his art board, the winner will receive a copy of his new book, Blue: The Color of Noise.
