JCDS parent and acclaimed author, Tova Mirvis, is happy to speak to your book club, in person if you are in the Boston area, or by phone and skype in all other places. Tova is the author of the memoir The Book of Separation as well as three novels, Visible City, The Outside World and The Ladies Auxiliary, which was a national bestseller. In her novels, Tova Mirvis returns to the themes of characters living in Orthodox communities while struggling with their faith. Her essays have appeared in various newspapers including The New York Times, The Boston Globe Magazine, and The Washington Post, and her fiction has been broadcast on National Public Radio. She is a graduate of Columbia College of Columbia University and holds an MFA in fiction writing from Columbia University's School of the Arts. Date and time to be mutually agreed upon with the author, at the Boston-area location of your choice. Prize includes (1) autographed copy of The Book of Separation.
