Robert Erlandson is a professor emeritus of Engineering who has authored and edited a variety of technical papers, reports and books. He has maintained a journal of poetry and painted for over fifty years. Currently, he draws, paints, creates digital images and writes for the joy of expression. His artwork has appeared in gallery exhibitions, most recently the 2018 Michigan Fine Arts Competition. His poetry favors short forms and in particular haiku, senryu, tanka and their use in haiga. Individual haiga, tanka and haiku have been published in Cattails, Prune Juice, Ribbons, Haigaonline, and Dailyhaiga.org . His first non-technical book, AWE, a self-published chapbook of images and poetry is available from Kindle Direct Publications, Amazon books.
