Description
2016 Siduri Pinot Noir : On the nose, this wine has intense aromas of black cherries, and fresh blackberries. The fruit character plays nicely with layers of fresh cut cedar, dried lavender and a hint of bay leaf. On the palate, there is a nice dance between flavors of pomegranate, raspberries and blackberry compote, wood-ear mushrooms and toasted pine nuts. The structure of this wine is fruit driven, but is given its posture by light, silky tannins and nervy acidity.
