Description

This beautiful hand sculpted maple bread knife is approximately 17 inches long and 2 inches high. The bread knife is set up right-handed, the blade can be removed and reversed to make the bread knife left-handed.

Alan J. Bourgault's hand-made, solid wood cutting boards are both functional and works of art.  Each cutting board is crafted from hand selected curly maple, bird's-eye maple, or cherry wood, then shaped by hand for an elegant shape and balance. Careful hand sanding and buffing with fine steel wool produce a satiny smooth surface that is silky to the touch.

Designed to provide many years of use in the kitchen, this cutting board is finished with a durable, heat treated walnut oil/wax finish. The board's beauty can easily be restored over time with gentle sanding and a new coat of finish.
