Celebrate the beauty of our redwoods as they were before the fire, and welcome them back as they are reborn, with this lovely plein-air watercolor done on location in Armstrong Woods by local artist Jean Warren.
This lovely large watercolor is ready to hang, framed in a dark blue metal frame, measuring 30" by 23"
Watercolor itself, unframed, is 22" by 15"
Jean Warren a watercolorist living in Bodega Bay and teaching at Sebastopol Center for the Arts. She lived under the redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains for 15 years before moving to Bodega Bay in 2005. She holds signature memberships in the National Watercolor Society, California Watercolor Association and serves on the Board of Directors for The Society of Layerists in Multi-Media. Her paintings are included in public, corporate and private collections as well as in several books on watercolor. She and her husband Phil, are rescue volunteers for The Marine Mammal Center. She is in her happy place when she is either walking along the ocean or immersed in the redwoods.
She is passionate about helping in the recovery efforts of Armstrong Redwoods.
