Local artist Ginnie Smoliar translates this unplayable bass into an art collector's dream!

Ginnie began her professional life playing oboe and English horn in various ensembles in the Pittsburgh region, including the Pittsburgh Opera, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble as well as substituting with the Pittsburgh Symphony. She has since transformed herself into a visual artist and graphic designer who now runs Smoliar Design (www.smoliardesign.com)
