Asawa Robe

Asawa is a superhero version of a traditional onsen kimono with a nod to the extraordinary quality of Japanese design and named for the avant-guard California born Japanese American sculptor Ruth Asawa. The details run deep, caballo seams throughout with substantial design decisions, the collar, the ties, the wrapping side seams, and the sculpted hem. It is made of a crisp, clean 100% nearshore cotton poplin that will get better with wear. The BODIE print was named for the magical lost in time deserted mining town in California. Color is a soft washed utilitarian green with ecru handcuff print.
