Description

This Abstract Art in Orange, Gray and Blue was made with high-quality oil paint. The size is 2x3 feet.

It has some feminine curves that make you think of a womb or perhaps a river. This painting vibrates at a high level. It's not a quiet piece that can hide in a corner. This is a powerful painting that will fill a room with light and energy. There is something happy emanating from this artwork.

I often use a lot of blue in my paintings, this particular dark blue is called "Prussian Blue" and I love it, especially when is combined with different shades of gray. Without a doubt, the color that dominates this painting is orange, a bright hue of orange. I can see this piece in an office or a living room, even a bedroom. My friends say it's sexy but I prefer to think it's feminine.

In one of the pictures, you will see that the hanging hardware was placed already and there is plenty of wire for you to adjust to the right height.

About the Artist, Cecelia Pirotto

I was born with a liberal hearth at the core of a very traditional family. Art did not run in my family, but I was lucky enough to have a grandmother who encouraged me and sponsored me for the 10 years that I took art lessons. I grew up in the Argentinean pampas where the horizon extends to a point that seems like the earth absorbed everything that was supposed to be there. The flat land leaves a lot of room for the imagination, and I loved that. I have been creating imaginary objects and botanicals all my life. Since I moved to Warwick, RI, oceans and landscapes are making it into my painting. The oceans I paint are inspired by dreams that I have. And if you look closely, you will see some pampas in them.

My intention is to create beauty and harmony. I strongly believe in the healing power of beauty and harmony. If I can provide a work of art in which people can lay their eyes on and feel safe, calm and happy, even if it is for a brief moment, that?s when I know I?ve done my job.
