About The Sacred Cow Scoop Shop and Farm Market

After many years of design and construction, AB Munroe Dairy has opened ?The Sacred Cow?, an ice cream scoop shop and small retail market in East Providence. The market is named after Munroe Dairy?s very own award-winning Sacred Cow Granola.

The Scoop Shop offers Munroe Dairy Ice Cream and Soft Serve including Maple Creemees!!! (Real maple syrup flavored soft serve ice cream).

The retail market will offer many of the farm-fresh items that Munroe has delivered to homes across Rhode Island since 1881. In addition, the market will help support local food makers by offering artisan products including many made at the Hope & Main Kitchen Incubator in Warren, RI.

Stepping into the black and white tiled scoop shop is like a nostalgic trip back in time. The woodwork is hand done and there are glass windows where shoppers can watch the Sacred Cow Crew bake up fresh batches of Granola. The scent alone is worth the trip!

Shopping at The Sacred Cow is a personal experience where one can try a sample of many local treats. Look for special events and chef appearances in the future.

All winning bids / purchases are non-refundable and not returnable.  Items must be picked up by the winners at Meeting Street's Providence campus (1000 Eddy Street) beginning February 3 through March 3, 2021 (final pick-up date). Winners will receive an e-mail with detailed information regarding hours of operation and pick-up procedures.  Out-of-town winners and those unable to pick-up their item(s) in person are directed to e-mail events@meetingstreet.org to arrange for shipping at the winner's expense.
