The scene is the iconic covered bridge at Spring Creek Park, a favorite of artists for many years. The soft greens and muted grays of this watercolor evoke a cool Spring day.

From the artist: We often went to Spring Creek with our grandchildren and enjoyed picnics there. It is a lovely spot.

Before retirement, I was a librarian in the State College School sytsem in the junior high.
