From almost every vantage point you?ll enjoy breathtaking views as far as your eyes can see, the Gulf of Mexico and Pine Island Sound to Cayo Costa and Captiva! Located only a few steps from the water and built on a rare two-lot site, the home provides you with total privacy without sacrificing the view. The observation deck is one of the highest points on the island, you can see for miles!
Enjoy games of ping pong, ladder golf, corn hole or just sitting back and reading a book from our little home library. When you venture out to explore the island you can use the six-seater golf cart that comes with the Maine Deck, if you need a second cart we have one available. You can go to the beach, the pool at the North Captiva Island Club, or walk the nature preserve and see manatees, bald eagles and osprey, or your friendly neighborhood Gopher Tortoise. You?re in the land that time forgot.
A remote location, North Captiva Island is accessible only by ferry or private boat. This private island community is reminiscent of old Florida as it once was during a simpler time. Just 3 miles off shore, this tropical paradise is part of the Lee Island Coast barrier island chain in South West Florida. Nearest airport to fly to would be in Fort Myers, Fl. Travel by golf cart or bicycle on our sandy native trails. Here, you will find no cars, no crowds. North Captiva Island offers a small town impression with just enough amenities to suit your family needs.
