Description
For the true Red Sox fanatic who wants to touch a piece of history, an official "American League" baseball autographed by 22-24 players and coaches from the 1977 roster. Clearly defined signatures include Yaz, Bill Lee, Fred Lynn, Luis Tiant, Rico Petrocelli, Butch Hobson, Denny Doyle, Fergie Jenkins, and many others, including beloved coach Johnny Pesky and not-so-beloved manager Don Zimmer. Unclear if Carlton Fisk, Jim Rice or Dwight Evans signed the ball, as some signatures are difficult to read. The autographs were made with regular ball-point pen and are somewhat faded. This ball given to the donor at the end of the 1977 season, and has remained in the family since then.
