Small lots of outstanding fruit were harvisted to create these perfectly balanced wines. Skyhook Red, blended 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache, pairs very well with fruits and cheeses, lasagna and roast. The bright and fruit-forward Bodega Rancho Grenache will take center stage when serving BBQ, or relaxing with guests by your campfire.

2019 JEMROSE GRENACHE
BENNETT VALLEY~SONOMA COUNTY
Jemrose Vineyard lies among rolling hills in the Southeast corner of Sonoma County. Here, a patchwork of open grassland and groves of Coast Live Oak give way to carefully manicured vineyard rows. Warm Summer days draw evening fog up from San Pablo Bay in the South. This coastal influence has a moderating effect on daytime temperatures and ensures an extended growing season.
This gentle ripening adds soft character and complexity. Notes on the Vintage
We harvested the 2019 vintage on October 16. Two separate vineyard blocks yielded an almost-even split of Alban and Tablas clones, after which the wines underwent an extended, cool co-fermentation. Bright cherry earth tones, and clove are the focus on the palate, giving way to lush fruit with moderate acidity and soft tannins on the finish.

Shipping is not available for this item. Wine will be available by pick up (free) or delivery ($20) to most areas of Sonoma County, as long as it is received by an adult over the age of 21. All ages must be prepared to show valid I.D. Winner may select method at the close of the auction.
If it is not being delivered to you, please arrange to pick up wine at the Stewards office no later than August 14, 2022. If the purchaser has not contacted the office within 30 days of the auction's closing, the sale will be voided. The winner may then treat their bid as a tax-deductible donation to Stewards, and the wine will be resold at a future auction.
