Soak Up the Charm by Sea Car, by Hand or by Foot in Monterey, California for Four Days & Three Nights at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course for Two, Including a Monterey and Pacific Grove Sea Car Tour and Your Choice of Either a Macaron Making Class with a Master Chef or a Carmel Small Group Walking Food and Cultural Tour (Land Only)

Head south of San Francisco and you'll find one of the most picturesque spots in North America ? the Monterey Peninsula. With its high cliffs, sparkling Pacific beaches and large, native forests, as well as the fairytale cottages of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California dreaming may have been invented here! Monterey County is a truly inspired California getaway, and you'll get to spend a few days getting lost in the world's finest scenery, historic sites, art galleries and boutiques, and soaking up the charm whether it's by Sea Car, by hand or by foot!

Zip and zoom around Monterey in a whole new way! Your GPS-enabled two-seater Sea Car is the perfect way to explore Cannery Row and other attractions, before cruising to the coast to enjoy one of the country's most scenic drives! And there's no need for maps, because the talking scooter car navigates (and narrates!) itself! If you follow the preprogrammed tour, you'll head for Lake El Estero and Asilomar State Beach, then to the Monarch Grove butterfly sanctuary in Pacific Grove.

Then explore the culinary delights of the area with your choice of a macaron-making class led by a master chef, or on a walking food tour in Carmel! If you're looking for a new recipe to add to your go-tos, the macaron baking class will teach you how to make these French delights from scratch! The master chef, who was featured on the Cooking Channel, will also impart kitchen knowledge to make things easier as you go. With highly instructional and hands-on learning, as well as small class sizes, this baking class is as enjoyable as macarons themselves! Or get moving on a food and wine walking tour in Carmel, during which you'll learn about the history and gourmet culture of the charming, small town vibes of Carmel. A knowledgeable foodie guide will take you around this upscale enclave as you visit local eateries to sample locavore and ethnic dishes, chocolate, and wine! Limited to 16 people, this tour provides a small-group experience with personalized attention. You'll make stops at restaurants, stylish watering holes and food shops to meet business owners and sample different food items. You may visit places like Casanova Restaurant, Trio Carmel, Anton & Michael, Terry's Lounge at the Historic Cypress Inn, Lula's Chocolates and Affina Food & Wine. Learn about the 'locavore' concept as you sample goodies such as gnocchi, olive oil, seasonal risotto, wine or cocktails, and locally made truffles and caramels.

Perched atop 22 beautifully manicured acres that border the 18-hole Pebble Beach Company's Championship Del Monte Golf Course, Hyatt Regency Monterey sets a new standard for Monterey Bay hotels.
