7'0" Sanchez Designs "Mid Length Surfboard"
Designed, Hand Shaped and Glassed here in San Diego by the master Roy Sanchez. Roy has been handcrafting boards for over 35 years and is one of the most sought after "underground" craftsman in surfing. His designs have delivered surfers to victory in every type of surf, including most recently Soleil Errico the 2023 World Longboard Champion who rode one of his handcrafted designs to win the WSL Women's Longboard event at Malibu and her second World Championship Title.
The "mid length" design is a combination of longboard and short board in one compact package, giving you the paddle power of more foam with the maneuverability and speed of something much smaller. SUrfers of all levels can catch more waves, make more sections, and inevitably have more fun. They inherently designed to be extremely versatile & can be surfed in a variety of conditions.
This 7'0" is the result of decades of study working with and learning from the masters of the "mid-length" world, pulling from their influence, and putting a modern spin on it.
