Our pasture raised hogs live their lives happily on over an acre of land with shady places for them to lounge. They are fed locally milled grain from Hunt & Behrens in Petaluma as well as tasty veggie and fruit scraps from our carefully tended garden and orchards. We will arrange on-farm slaughter for your 1/2 pig through Willowside Meats in Santa Rosa and then you are responsible for the slaughter fee ($37.50 per 1/2) and to instruct and pay them to cut and wrap your meat. This is for the 2023 season which will be harvested in late summer to early fall.
Please note that SunRidge Auction Item is for price of 1/2 hog share and DOES NOT INCLUDE slaughter and cut and wrap fees.
Note: Estimated weight for 1/2 Hog share is 100 lb "hanging weight"

Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, the certificate will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days or can be mailed at the winning bidder?s expense. Certificate will be mailed with insurance via USPS first class mail. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees and billed at standard industry rates.
For planning, note that the pick-up days are Wed, April 5th, 2023 from 2:00-6:00 pm, and Thursday, April 6th, 2023 from 12:40-3:00pm at SunRidge School in Sebastopol, California.
All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
