Class Project - 4th Grade - Karen

This year, the 4th grade created pieces inspired by their NDI performance, "Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud" (which was itself inspired by a Maya Angelou quote). Here, we painted a watercolor cloud at the top of the page and then used a pipette to dot the paper with large splashes of water. Students in Karen's class then chose a color and gently tapped their brush to the water splashes to color them. When every dot was colored, we tilted the paper up to produce the rain effect.

Artwork comes with a color chart, so parents and students can tell whose rain drop was whose.
