Superior Athletic Club, originally known as Medford Superior Courts, opened in 1978 with a focus on racquetball and separate weight rooms for men and women. Over the years, the club underwent renovations, including removing dividing walls in the weight rooms, adding new equipment, rearranging spaces to accommodate cardio equipment, and moving the aerobic room downstairs.
