Bring a group to Deer Lake, PA for 2 nights and stay at Fighter's Heaven, the former Training Camp of Muhammad Ali. Tour the newly restored Gym where "The Greatest" trained for fights against George Foreman, Joe Frazier and Larry Holmes among many others.
Enjoy dinner in the kitchen where he took his meals. Shoot some hoops, or take it easy by the outside fireplace.
The Camp is 2 hours from New York City, or 90 minutes from Philadelphia.
Available are 7 of the sleeping cabins (14 Queen size beds) that Ali built for his training staff and others in his entourage.
Previous visitors to the Camp have included the likes of Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, Howard Cosell, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones and many others.
*The camp is a 5 acre compound that includes 2 houses, 8 sleeping cabins, a gym, a kitchen/dining room, an outdoor fireplace, a basketball court and a Mosque.
Item Special Note
Please note that this is very much a "camp." The cabin where Ali stayed was heated by wood and coal, lighting provided by oil lamps, and his water was hand-pumped. A Ritz Carlton this is not! This item would be ideal for a family reunion, mini Harvard reunion, or small business retreat.
