Black?s Island features ten private vacation homes situated along a meandering cedar boardwalk. Each exceptional residence features a fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, spacious living and dining rooms, plush king sized beds, immaculate ensuite bathrooms, and secluded balconies offering stunning views of our idyllic beaches, lush tropical plants, and abundant wildlife. The loft includes either one queen or two twin bunk beds suited for children.

"We visited Black's Island for Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed the resort very much. The staff was super helpful, the island was beautiful, the water was amazing...we simply did not want to leave! "We just got back from our trip to Black's Island. It's a real unique place to visit. Very laid back and gorgeous. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The bungalows are beautiful and decorated really nicely. The beach is wonderful and the surrounding waters are filled with wildlife. We went paddle boarding, kayaking, used the small boat with electric motor and fished around the dock and island. Really relaxing and had a great time. Probably the best time was just going around the island and checking out the wildlife in the water. We saw mullets jumping, all manner of fish, skates, urchins, shellfish, sea hares, horseshoe crabs, blue crabs, etc. There are six shuttles back and forth every day, so it was no problem going ashore for lunch/dinner and supplies. You do have to plan some if you don't have a boat (we didn't) but being on an island is part of the allure, it's a different experience than just going to a hotel and waiting for room service. By Air: Panama City Beach International Airport (ECP) is just under 1.5 hour drive from our mainland marina. Private pilots may wish to fly into Apalachicola Regional Airport, which is only 20-30 minutes away.
ABOUT THE BUNGALOWS
Our bungalows are fully equipped private residences with all the comforts of home, including modern kitchens offering a full range stovetop and oven, large refrigerator & freezer, filtered ice maker, microwaves, coffee makers and sustainable ceramic mugs, cookware, glassware, dishes, sharp knives and utensils. Don?t worry about picking up paper towels, laundry detergent or garbage bags on your supply run ? we?ve got you covered! The bungalows sleep 6 people; however, it fits 4 adults comfortably.
DINING
Cooking on vacation is one of the best ways to become acquainted with a new place and make unforgettable memories. Create sea-to-table meals for your group in the privacy of your own chef?s kitchen, featuring spacious granite countertops and tons of pantry space so you can spread out. Or cook up your catch of the day on one of the various outdoor grills provided. Please note that there is not a restaurant or lounge on the island.
