I painted this painting from a memory of La Mer Blue, Ottawa. A special place where I paint plein air. In the fall the blueberry bushes are on fire, this is my interpretation of this beautiful place just outside our city.
J'ai peint ce tableau à partir d'un souvenir de Mer Bleue, à Ottawa. C?est un endroit spécial où je peins en plein air. À l'automne, les buissons de bleuets s'enflamment. Voici mon interprétation de ce magnifique endroit juste à l'extérieur de la ville.

Pina Manoni-Rennick was born in Bassano Romano - a town north of Rome, Italy and move to Ottawa, Canada in 1965. Her interest in nature has nurtured her desire to recreate it in acrylic. Pina has enhanced her skills by taking the Visual Arts Program at Algonquin College, workshops at St. Laurence College, the Ottawa School of Art and study with National and international artists such as Alex Power, Skip Lawrence, Karla O?Connor and Frank Webb.
Pina Manoni-Rennick est née à Bassano Romano, une ville au nord de Rome, en Italie, et s'est installée à Ottawa, au Canada, en 1965. Son intérêt pour la nature a nourri son désir de la recréer à l'acrylique. Pina a amélioré sa technique grâce au programme d'arts visuels du Collège Algonquin, en participant à des ateliers au Collège St. Laurence et à l'École d'art d'Ottawa et en étudiant avec des artistes nationaux et internationaux comme Alex Power, Skip Lawrence, Karla O'Connor et Frank Webb.
