Jamison "Jaima" Albritton is a St. Andrew's alum and the 2022-2023 Visiting Artist.
About the artist:
Brooklyn based artist, Jamia, moved to New York in 2016 to pursue the dream of being a full time artist. While working at artist?s markets, he would create paintings to show his process and noticed that these were the pieces that people loved the most. His style revolves around drawing a specific object, and then using the negative space to connect and interweave patterns. By connecting various simpler motifs to make a more complex piece, his goal is to make art that people can revisit many times and find something new and uplifting.
