Description

A certificate for a big game hunt for four hunters in New Zealand.  Experience an unforgettable hunting adventure in the Canterbury region on the South Island of New Zealand. You will be hunting for Red Stag, Himalayan Tahr, Alpine Chamois, Captain Cook wild boar, and more. Hunt thousands of acres for multiple big game species with your Kiwi guide. 

This experience includes:

  • 4-night stay in an upscale hunting lodge for four hunters
  • Three full hunting days with a guide
  • Three gourmet-prepared meals per day with wine and beer
  • New Zealand Big Game hunting license, rifle rental, and ammunition
  • Two hunters to 1 guide ratio
  • Pickup and drop off at Christchurch Airport
  • All transportation in the hunting area

Big Game Hunting:

Hunt thousands of acres of prime New Zealand ranchlands and farmland for up to 12-species of Big Game animals (red stag, wapiti, fallow stag, Himalayan tahr, alpine chamois, Arapawa ram, feral goat, Captain Cook wild boar, and waterfowl.)  

Accommodation:

Enjoy a 4-night stay in two rooms (double beds) with En-Suite bathrooms in a lodge created with your comfort in mind. Savor local-inspired gourmet meals and superb New Zealand wine and local beer in the main dining area. Relax in the living room and share stories about your successful day of hunting. Located in the Canterbury region of New Zealand, approximately one hour's drive from Christchurch, transportation from the airport to lodge included.

A typical day will begin with a full breakfast, a morning trip into the field to hunt, a relaxing lunch back at the lodge, a mid-afternoon nap, and another afternoon big game hunting experience. Then, enjoy cocktails, wine, appetizers, and dinner with courses inspired by the local Kiwi culture with fresh venison, chicken, beef and vegetables, and local desserts.

Item Special Note

Good for 2024 or 2025 New Zealand hunting seasons(February 15 through the end of July). The most popular time to hunt Red Stag is mid-February through the end of April, while the best time to pursue Tahr and Chamois is May through July.

Reservations are subject to availability. Hunting trips must be booked with an outfitter within 90-days for 2023, 2024, or 2025 hunting seasons with a deposit of $2,000 per hunter is required to reserve hunting reservations and dates. The $2,000 deposit towards each hunter's trophy fees.

Non-hunters can join the trip at the rate of USD$1250 per person.
