It pairs well with red meats, game, Bolognese sauce and rich cheeses. It is also a perfect wine to drink on its own. Serve at room temperature, open at least 30 minutes before serving. One bottle 2004 Bourgogne Pinot Noir from Joseph Faiveley in Burgundy, France. One bottle 2008 Firesteed Pinot Noir from Oregon. Its light ruby in color with earthy, toasted oak notes on the nose. Bright and lively Bing cherry flavors and silky textures highlight the palate, as well as hints of cranberry and eucalyptus, followed by a long, smooth finish. Bonus item....one Oggi wine opener

For planning, note that the pick-up days are Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 pm, and Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 from 12:40-3:00pm at SunRidge School in Sebastopol, California.
Wine may be shipped where allowed by law, the bidder is required to verify wine may be shipped to their address prior to bidding, and to contact the auction shipping team on or before 5/20/2025 to request shipping for any wine. Wine may not be shipped outside of the US, to Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Utah, Vermont, North Dakota, South Dakota, or anywhere else where it is illegal. If wine is shipped it will be shipped at the winning bidder?s expense via UPS Ground, and the package must be received and signed for by someone who is a minimum of 21 years old. Additional restrictions for shipping wine may apply.
