Description

The students of second grade have each been watching over a particular tree in the school?s Apple orchard for close to two years. One of the many things they noticed throughout the trees? seasons is the attention the blossoms get from the bees. In this tear art watercolor collage, the artwork of all students is represented either in the honeycomb hexagons or in various bee parts. Their class teacher, Ms. Vander Pluym, took these elements and assembled what you see here in the completed work. She says, ?I love this piece because it is so representative of a Waldorf classroom. From how busily and hard our students work, to how they must cooperate in defined roles at different times, to the sweetness that they make when they all create together, and each unique role in the destiny of the world."

This original piece measures 22x30 and the watercolor paint, paper, and glue are all archival.  This piece has been professionally matted and framed.
