You are bidding on Arrowbear Music Camp's 4-day Elementary Session! (Or equivalent price towards a difference session)
Operating since 1942, we blend the camaraderie of a traditional sleep away camp environment with inspiring musical instruction. Campers study in group ensembles throughout the day with experienced, professional musicians and teachers. Outside of rehearsal times, campers are engaged in social group activities, nightly campfires under the stars, hikes, arts and crafts, homemade camp meals, and time away from technology to enjoy the simpler things in life. A cornerstone of our program is to create a large circle of bonded friends with the idea that the musical experience is enhanced by the social connections between all of the campers. We involve all the campers in our activities, guide them through camp concerns as a group, and focus on the large group musical product. Our staff works hard to downplay the competitive nature of many musical and social experiences.
