Tennessee Cast the Deciding Vote

Tennesee cast the decidingto vote to make the ratification of the 19th Amendment -securing women's right to vote possible.  In recognition of the importance of this pivitol historic event, the citizens of Tennessee have done remarkable work to ensure that the story will be told. 

To help tell the story of how they achieved this goal is the Tennessee Woman Suffrage Monument from Concept to Completion booklet which is filled with historic information and images of the people and the process which made the recognition possibe

The beautiful gold pin encrusted with pearls, and other stones along with a gold miniture Perfect 36 tag (as reminder of signicance of Tennesee being the 36 state and final state needed) was used as a fundraising to help complete their tribute.  

Included is a brief biography of Sue Shelton White that tells the difficult,
on-ending courageous campaign to win the right to vote.
