Amazing Family Heirloom - true ANTIQUE (from 1890, 135 years old), just donated from Estate Sale! This is a 19th Century BENNINGTON POTTERY PITCHER, an example of original "Yelloware" American Stoneware Pottery (and highly sought-after by Antique Collectors for its Historic Craftsmanship). It features their signature raised / embossed "Peacock Motif" and rich Rockingham Glaze (with the original yellow/brown marbled drip-glaze - with Palm Trees and Beaded Bands decorating the top and bottom Rims). Pitcher is in INCREDIBLE condition for age (135 years old) - and was donated by the Original Owner's Family. There are almost no chips or no marks; Pitcher was lovingly cared for (and kept in the Family Hope Chest - along with the other similar-aged Victorian Items in our Auction (which helps to prove their age and authenticity), as you review our Auction Catalog. (Yes, this item is real - and passed down through multiple generations!) It is solid and HEAVY Pottery (weighs about 4 pounds) and size is 8" H x 8.5" wide.
