Item Description
Get Your Western On!! You will be Cowboy Chic with three others at the Pendleton Round Up on September 18, 2011.
Next year is the 101st Anniversary of the Pendleton Round Up. You and three friends will get the VIP treatment with tickets to the finals (always a sold out show) with a former Round Up princess and queen as your escorts. In addition to seeing a one-of-a-kind rodeo, you will also have access to the Let'er Buck Room, easily the wildest drinking establishement in the Wild West (Warning: No Beer or Wine served and very little mixer to boot!!). The Let'er Buck Room alone is "Bucket List" material.
The Pendleton Round Up was started in 1910 in Pendleton, Oregon by a group of local ranchers, including the grandfather and great grandfather of your hosts while in Pendleton. The population of the town triples during the week long event. You will arrive in a private plane and stay on a working wheat and cattle ranch in a teepee.
Wear your new pair of custom short boots (value $1,275) by master bootmaker Stallion, and a spectacular belt buckle by preeminent silversmith and engraver Clint Orms ($1,000). Boots and buckle generously donated by Range Mercantile, a new contemporary western boots and accessories store at 1428 Main Street in St Helena. Range sells heirloom quality goods from artisans who have established a benchmark of excellence employing the irreplaceable craftsmanship that can only be developed through years of practicing the art. Please note: the winner can choose their own style of boots and buckle of equivalent value, if the chosen pait is not your style.
