Item Description
Think green ... and blue, pink, and purple! Spend a parent-child “crafternoon” making and decorating reusable, machine-washable snack bags. Kindergarten Bag Ladies Susan Fisher-Owens, Sarah Arron, Verna Kuo, and Melissa Kraus will lead this eco-art project party to support the “one less plastic baggie” movement!
Parents will learn to make a snack bag, from conception to cutting to completion. No prior sewing experience required! Kids will get to design their bag and decorate premade bags while the parents are sewing (older kids welcome to sew too!) You will also take the pattern to continue the fun at home. The party will take place on Saturday, May 18, from 2 to 4 pm. This is a Count-Me-In event. $50 per parent/child pair. 8 parent/child spots available online.
