Item Description
Provide a school bus for an Elementary School Class to visit the JCCCNC for a morning of hands-on activities for Children’s Day and then explore Japantown. Due to budget cuts, there are many schools and classes that are unable to come to the JCCCNC’s school visits to learn about Children’s Day, Hina Matsuri and Tango no Sekku. With your support, a class will be able to try on a traditional Boy’s Day Armor hat, create their own koi no bori (carp streamer) or make sakura mochi, a traditional sweet.
