Item Description

Our First Grade students worked with Mrs. DuBoyce on an artist study of Mondrian. Piet Mondrian was a Dutch painter. He was an important contributor to the De Stijl art movement and group. He evolved a non-representational form which he termed neoplasticism. This consisted of white ground, upon which was painted a grid of vertical and horizontal black lines and the three primary colors. Here is their interpretation. 16X20 Poster Print

Item Special Note

Each child decorated a balsa wood house in the style of their grade's artist.   In lieu of a single class project to be auctioned, we have then taken your child(ren)s balsa wood house(s) and adhered them to custom cut matboard.  (Available for purchase under "Custom Family Vignette" for $30.) Before creating the Vignettes, each grade's houses were grouped and photographed together as neighborhoods, and posters were created for each grade.  You can buy a copy of your child's grade's poster for $30.  (Or you can buy a copy of any grade's poster for that matter!!)
